This Privacy Policy explains how Seventh Rank ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the SkinAI mobile application (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information we collect

We collect information to provide and improve the App's services. The types of information we collect include:

a) User-Provided Information:

  • Account Information: Email address used to create and manage your account.

  • Onboarding and Questionnaire Data: Information you provide about your skincare routine, lifestyle factors (such as stress or tiredness), and preferences.

  • Skin Analysis Results: Skin scores, metrics, summaries, and recommendations generated by the App.

b) Image Data (Selfies):

When you take a selfie or upload an image for skin analysis:

  • The image is transmitted from your device to our AI processing providers for analysis.

  • The image contains facial and skin information and may be considered biometric data under certain privacy laws.

  • The image is not used for identity verification, authentication, advertising, or tracking across apps or services.

c) Derived Facial Analysis Data

From your facial image, the App generates skin-related data such as acne indicators, hydration levels, wrinkles, pigmentation, and other dermatological characteristics. This data does not include the original image but is linked to your account to provide personalized insights and track progress over time.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: To analyze your skin metrics and provide feedback, insights, and suggested corrective actions.

  • To Improve the App: To understand usage trends and improve the accuracy of our AI models and the overall user experience.

  • To Communicate With You: To send you updates, security alerts, and support messages.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share data with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, data analysis, and technical support. These providers are obligated to protect your information.

  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner.

a) AI Processing Providers

We share facial images and related prompts with third-party AI service providers, including Latitude and OpenAI, to perform skin analysis and generate recommendations.

These providers:

  • Process data to deliver the requested analysis

  • May temporarily store request data, including images, for service operation, security, debugging, and legal compliance

  • Are not permitted to use the data for advertising or unrelated purposes

b) Infrastructure and Service Providers

We use third-party providers for cloud hosting, databases, analytics, and customer support. These providers receive only the data necessary to operate and support the App.

c) Legal and Business Reasons

We may disclose information:

  • If required by law or valid legal request

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy

4. Data retention

a) Facial Images

  • Facial images are transmitted to our AI processing providers for analysis.

  • These images may be stored by our AI providers for up to 30 days for operational, security, and legal purposes.

  • We do not permanently store facial images on our own servers.

b) Facial Analysis Results and Account Data

  • Skin analysis results and account information are stored for as long as your account remains active so that you can view history, trends, and recommendations.

  • When you delete your account, this data is permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

5. Data security

We implement a variety of security measures to protect your information. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Please note: Your facial scan images are processed and stored locally on your device, which enhances your privacy.

6. Your choices and rights

Data Access and Deletion: As your data is primarily stored locally on your device or linked to your account, you can manage or delete your account information by accessing your in-app settings.

  • Marketing Communications: We do not send marketing communications.unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

7. Children's privacy

We do not have a minimum age requirement for using the App. However, if you are a minor, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App and agree to these terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without such consent.

8. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the App and, where appropriate, by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
